Our Mission

To promote a new, hopeful climate narrative, tempered by pragmatism and made precise by vision. To help people from any skill level and background find where they can make a meaningful difference.

Madeleine Ary Hahne, Zoe Salt and Annabel Collinson founded Visions of Soon because they saw a critical need to support climate activism. In doing so, however, what they discovered was an increasingly despondent audience. Determined to change this, Visions of Soon was built to challenge the way we engage with climate action, rehabilitate our relationship with online climate activism, and nurture hope.

Visions of Soon exists for two reasons.

  1. To bring hope, tempered by pragmatism and made precise by vision.

  2. To encourage action. Everyone can, and should, do their part.

If you’re not a politician, or scientist, or an activist, it can be hard to see the part you can play in mitigating climate change.

This is where Visions of Soon comes in. As a new project founded in 2022, we are interviewing not only politicians and scientists, but also artists, homemakers, mechanics, and farmers. We seek to illuminate the incredible work being done in every field, and offer opportunities for everyone to get involved.

These optimistic, though realistic, visions are antidotes to doomscrolling. Through following us, you can find exactly where you fit in climate action and jump into the fight.
